New: Upload Shopify QA tests to Uptime with a single click
We’ve made some major updates to Uptime's automated test flow recording to make monitoring your Shopify online store easier than ever.
To make test flow recording easier you can now upload automated tests from the Uptime Recorder Chrome extension directly to the Uptime app with a single click.
You will no longer need to download the test file from the extension and manually upload it to the Uptime app!
How to record and auto-upload automated test flows
Make sure you are updated to the latest version of the Uptime Recorder chrome extension, or install it directly from the Chrome Web Store.
Next, record an automated test flow for your online store by simply navigating to a page on your store (eg. a product page), opening the extension, and then simply start a recording.
Once you stop the recording, you can now simply click the Upload button in the Previous Recordings tab to add the test to your Uptime app. Clicking this button will automatically navigate you to your Uptime app, where you’ll be prompted to confirm the test flow name and upload the test.
With automatic uploading of tests, you can get QA monitoring set up on your store in seconds!
