Uptime was introduced to Eberlestock through their agency partner, Boomn. At the time, Boomn was looking for a tool to help scale their QA process across all of their clients, enabling both their engineers and clients to gain more peace of mind knowing someone is always monitoring the online store.
Black Friday checkout upsell outage
When Eberlestock was onboarding to the Uptime platform, our team reviewed their online store to carve out an initial set of test flows that would provide sufficient test coverage. In the last 30 days alone these tests have run over 860 times, saving Eberlstock and Boomn over 11 hours and 40 minutes of manual testing.

On the morning of Black Friday, Boomn and the Eberlestock team would receive a notification from Uptime that their Product page > Checkout > Add checkout upsell test flow was failing.

It became immediately apparent by looking at the test flow failure screenshot that Eberlestock’s checkout upsells were not appearing as expected. With this knowledge in hand, Boomn was able to immediately spring into action, contacting the third-party app developer to quickly begin resolving the issue, saving their client huge amounts of money on one of the most important days of the year in ecommerce.
